Kids to Kids in Pakistan

After the destructive earthquake in October 2005 in Kashmir in Pakistan, we supplied a mobile hospital unit, which operates in the remote area called Baltistan, with needed facilities and pharmaceuticals. On this occasion, we asked few Czech, Slovak and Slovenian schools to make gifts packages for Pakistani children.

We met with an enthusiastic response from children, parents and teachers and shipped 1800 kid´s packs to Pakistan. These gift packs were distributed to children in poor mountain areas of Baltistan in November 2006. We prepared a presentation for schools that participated in the project by using photographs and video from Baltistan. In this way, children that made the packages could see the joy and gratitude of the recipient Pakistani children.
