Kids to Kids in South Africa

At the request of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, our international team of volunteers arranged for Kids to Kids projects to benefit the children in the Philani Nutrition Centres in Cape Town, South Africa.

In 2006 a sea container of children’s packs, sports equipment and school furniture and supplies was sent from British schoolchildren and school authorities. Over five hundred hand made dolls were sent from children in 10 countries in Europe, Asia, and North America to children receiving treatment at the Philani Nutrition Centres.. In 2006, children in London offered 125 bicycles to the Nelson Mandela Children’s Fund which allowed children to go to schools a great distance from their villages.
