Medical supplies

A 20-foot sea container with hospital beds, medical and surgical supplies and equipment was sent from the Netherlands in January 2004. The shipment was received and its contents distributed.

From 2004 to 2006 four sea containers of hospital beds, medical supplies, educational materials, computers and medical technology were sent.

In addition, in early June 2005, a number of large air shipments of antibiotics (streptomycin and rifampicin) were sent to treat Buruli ulcer.

Medical supplies and school books

A second 20-foot sea container with medical equipment and supplies was sent in June 2004 from Germany, and most recently a 20-foot container including many thousands of school books was sent from Great Britain.

Distribution of hospital beds, surgical supplies and medical equipment

Hospital beds, surgical supplies and medical equipment have been sent in sea containers as a result of an ongoing association with parliamentarians. We are working closely with many parties and with local NGOs in a unique and very fruitful partnership between national government and civil societ
